Westerham Press winners at the PrintWeek Awards 2011

Westerham Press took the top prize at last month's prestigious PrintWeek awards dinner held at the Grosvenor Hotel, London.

Westerham Press were awarded the Report and accounts Printer of the Year 2011, an award they justly deserve, based on the client names submitted to the PrintWeek offices detailed below:

Compass Annual Report 2010 - The Conran Design Group briefed in their requirements on behalf of Compass.


Burberry Annual Report - Manufactured for Burberry and designed by Black Sun the brief was to produce a fantastic looking report using colourful and bold imagery.


WPP Annual Report - This annual report was printed for Addison Design who are part of the WPP Group of companies.

Meggitt Annual Report - The brief, from the designer and print manager, was to produce a fantastic looking report using high contrast imagery and making use of tri-tone images and integrated silver.

In addition to the 'Report and Accounts Printer of the Year 2011, Westerham were further honoured in the Fine Art category with a 'Commented' award, for the second year running. Well done to everyone involved!

Fine Art category (Commended)

David Shepherd Archive Collection - a facsimile of favourite works spanning his lifetime containing 123 reproductions including both world famous and some previously unpublished paintings, all bound by hand with English Vellum and limited to 1,000 copies.

Oman Art of Seeing Nature - produced exclusively for the Sultan of Oman by Tate Publishing.

Stock Catalogue – a threadsewn, casebound fine art catalogue featuring the work of a number of well known artists and sculptors including Barbara Hepworth, Bridget Riley, Henry Moore and David Hockney. It was designed by Tim Harvey for Hazlitt Holland-Hibbert of St James’s, London, who specialises in twentieth century.

Bridget Riley Arcadia - this book, produced for The National Gallery and Bridget Riley to accompany an exhibition of Bridget’s work. The National Gallery and Bridget were present to press pass the the job and supervise all stages of the binding and case making.
